The simple rule

Participate naturally and engage with real people. If an activity exists mainly to generate AC, it likely breaks these guidelines.

The standard

Ascend Credits reward genuine community participation. That includes real conversations, meaningful activity, and normal time spent with other members.

We assess overall activity patterns, not a single quiet moment. Long sessions are not automatically a violation, and stepping away briefly is normal. Repeated inactivity or artificial activity designed to earn AC is not.

What counts as genuine engagement

Use Ascend the way the rewards program was designed: join in, contribute, and spend time with the community.

Okay

Natural community activity

  • Having real conversations in counted voice channels
  • Participating in community activities, chat, and tasks
  • Sharing your screen while actively watching, playing, or discussing something
  • Taking normal breaks during an otherwise genuine session

Not okay

Activity created to farm AC

  • Remaining in voice mainly to collect AC while inactive
  • Using alternate accounts to create or boost activity
  • Sitting inactive with an alt in a duo or private voice channel
  • Running a blank, static, or unattended screen share to appear active

Activity that breaks the rules

These examples are not exhaustive. Ascend may act on other patterns that clearly attempt to automate, simulate, or manipulate AC earnings.

AFK farming

Extended or repeated time in voice with little or no interaction, where the main purpose is earning AC.

Alternate-account farming

Using another account to earn AC, boost occupancy, or make an inactive session look genuine.

Inactive private channels

Sitting in a duo or private voice channel with an alt, or staying inactive mainly to generate AC.

Fake screen activity

Sharing a blank, static, unattended, or meaningless screen to simulate participation.

What happens when activity is flagged

Unusual or abusive earning patterns can trigger an automatic rewards freeze. The freeze protects the rewards pool while a person reviews the account.

  1. 01

    Automatic freeze

The system may freeze rewards access when it detects an unusual or abusive earning pattern.

  2. 02

    Earning and spending stop

While frozen, the account cannot earn new AC or use the AC already in its wallet.

  3. 03

    A person reviews it

The Ascend team checks the activity before deciding whether to restore rewards access.

  4. 04

    Confirmed abuse is corrected

If the review confirms abuse, AC identified as having been earned through it is deducted from the account.

Reviews and account outcomes

After an account is frozen, the Ascend team reviews the activity manually. Reinstatement can take 5–7 business days.

Legitimate activity may have rewards access restored. If abuse is confirmed, affected AC is removed. Repeated or deliberate offenses can lead to permanent rewards restrictions or account deactivation.

While a review is open, you cannot earn new AC or use the AC already in your wallet.

Rewards are not a grind

Ascend Rewards recognizes authentic participation. It is not a hack, passive-income system, or job. Ascend Credits are loyalty credits with no cash value.

Show up. Take part. Let AC follow the activity you were already here for.

Genuine engagement keeps your account and the rewards pool in good standing.

No. Do not use alternate accounts to earn AC, boost activity, or keep another account active. Participate in Ascend Rewards through your primary account.

Yes. Genuine conversations in duo and private channels count. Sitting in one with your own alternate account, or remaining inactive mainly to generate AC, is considered abuse.

Yes, when the activity is genuine. Starting a blank, static, unattended, or meaningless screen share only to appear active does not count.

A freeze means the system detected an activity pattern that may not reflect genuine engagement. It temporarily protects the rewards pool while the Ascend team reviews the account. A freeze is not always a final decision.

No. A frozen rewards account cannot earn new AC or use its existing AC until the review is complete.

Yes. AC identified as having been earned through rewards abuse is deducted from the account.

Reinstatement can take 5–7 business days after an account is frozen while the team reviews the activity.
