A scrim is a private practice match between two competitive teams.

Esports rosters use scrims to drill maps, test compositions and prepare for tournaments. The hard part isn't the match — it's finding a real opponent at the right time, in the right region, at the right rank.

Sign in with Discord or Google, join or create a team, then browse open slots on the scrim calendar. Filter by region, rank tier, map pool and BO1/BO3/BO5 format. Send a request and the host team gets notified — most matches lock in within minutes.

Ascend lists VALORANT scrims across NA, EU, AP, BR, LATAM and KR. You can post or request slots for any rank tier from Iron through Radiant, including academy and tier-2 esports rosters.

Every team on Ascend has an honor score that goes up when matches are played as scheduled and down on no-shows or cancellations. Higher honor unlocks higher-tier matchups and surfaces your team to better opponents.

No. Any team can join Ascend, post open scrim slots and request matches. Verified orgs get a badge that shows up next to the team name in the scrim list.
